Gold Coast - Wednesday

Today was quite a rainy day,  so we chose some indoor activities.  I stayed with Jack in our hotel room for his morning nap,  while Michael took Amy for a swim in the indoor pool.  They had the whole pool to themselves and Amy enjoyed lots of splashing.
We went to an indoor play centre so Amy could have a big run and play.  She loved the big tube slides. Michael and I took turns in climbing through the maze of tunnels with Amy to reach the slide at the top.  Jack went on a tiny baby slide and squealed as I guided him down it.
We left there around lunch time and drove back to our hotel. On the way back,  both kids fell asleep in the car (there seems to be a running theme here!).  Amy had been awake since 5 so she was super tired.  She felt much happier when she woke and we enjoyed some quiet time in our hotel for a little while.
The weather started to clear in the early afternoon,  so we went to Skypoint tower.  77 floors high we could see a huge stretch of beautiful beaches and all the tall towers of the Gold Coast.  We spotted 'Cronin Island',  which apparently has some very expensive properties.
Amy enjoyed looking through the binoculars and said she could see our house. She also liked turning a large handle of a coin machine (those tourist machines that flatten coins and print a design on them).
