What a busy and wonderful holiday we had. Our hotel was amazing (see the photo of the sunrise this morning, taken from our balcony) and we did so many wonderful activities. We were all so happy and really enjoyed every day. Today was focused on getting home. We left the hotel around 8am and stopped for a play while Jack slept in the car. After we dropped off the hire car, we boarded our Qantas flight. Jack was very tired and whingy as we took off, so once I was allowed out of my seat, I walked to the back of the plane, and rocked him to sleep in my arms. He slept that way for the whole flight, until I had to sit down again. Amy was given a colouring/activity book and 4 coloured pencils. She was excited that the pencils were blue, yellow, red and purple, the colours of the four wiggles.
We were relieved to arrive back at our car, as Amy was getting very tired. She fell asleep on the way home, as did Jack.
It's nice to go on holiday, and also lovely to come home.
