Happy 10 months little man!
Jack has changed a lot in the last month. He is moving a lot more, both in a sitting position and on his belly. When sitting, he leans forward and to the side, almost onto hands and knees. He gets the toy he is after, and sits back up again. On his belly, he swims around in circles. He is getting a top tooth, or two. They are about to cut so he's been a bit unhappy about it.
He's been moving around his cot more too. Today he has been rolling from his back to his belly, and getting stuck in the bars of the cot. This keeps him awake which isn't ideal. Today he napped on his belly for the first time.
I weighed him yesterday, and he is 11kg! He's such a big boy, and wears size 1 clothes. No words yet, just baby babble. Mostly he likes to go 'ahhhhh', kind of like a roar. He's living up to his name of Jacky Bear.
He loves to stand, and walk while holding my hands. He's getting very good at putting one foot in front of the other now.
One of his favourite things to do is to go outside and sit on the swing. He really loves it. Today I've been busy making a nice play space for Amy and Jack around the side of the house, out of the direct sun.
He laughs all the time at Amy's crazy antics. He loves nursery rhymes and books.
Jack loves finger foods and self-feeding. This is much easier for us but very messy!
He will be starting day care next month. We finally have a place for him on Thursdays and Fridays. This means I will be returning to work also. It'll be a big change for Jack, but I'm confident he will be well looked after.
