We spent the day at home so Jack could get plenty of rest. He's still not well, but seemed a little happier this afternoon.
Amy and I planted some basil and coriander in the garden. She enjoyed hearing about herbs and how they taste and smell nice. She liked smelling the different herbs before planting and watering them.
We did some craft inside (it was too windy to be outside!). Amy and I used a nappy box to create a car track for her matchbox cars. It's a work in progress and we should finish it tomorrow.
We glued some paper onto the cardboard and painted it green (for the grass). After Amy's nap the paint had dried and she was keen to add the road and some water.
She also did some other painting on paper, which then became face painting. Then things got even messier when we added shaving foam. She definitely loves getting messy!
Jack enjoyed army crawling all around the living room. He got himself onto hands and knees a few times, rocking back and forward. He does this more every day.
Tonight after his bath I dressed him and sat him on the rug while I bathed Amy. A few minutes later, he was poking his head in the bathroom door!
