Sick

Poor Amy has been terribly sick.  It started on Thursday when I picked her up from day care.  Her carer mentioned she had been coughing a bit in the day.  That afternoon she coughed almost non stop.  As I was lifting her into the bath she felt quite warm and had a slight temperature.
She wouldn't eat anything and didn't drink much milk.
I gave her nurofen and put her to bed.  She cried in the morning and was very hot (over 38 degrees).  We kept her home all day and she was very upset and certainly not herself.  She fell asleep on our bed with Michael for a nap but was very unsettled all day.  Her temperature reached 39.6 on Friday evening and Norma came to give me a helping hand.
After a nice bath and some panadol she cooled and I put her to bed.  She woke around midnight very hot again and Michael gave her some more nurofen and some milk. He slept in her room to keep a close eye on her.
She was much happier on Saturday morning but still had a temperature and was quite congested.  But she managed to get some of her appetite back and the food gave her some energy.
It was horrible seeing her so unwell. She is still not quite 100% and has been coughing a lot.
Jack has developed a chesty cough since last night (Saturday night)  and has been very clingy with me today.  He has a normal temperature but I'm keeping a very close eye on him.  I hope both our babies get well soon.
