Amy’s school work
Amy has been doing very well adapting to learning at home. Today she has been showing Jack some of her work on the iPad. In her break, she was teaching Jack number recognition.

Learning from home
The new buzz words at the moment are ‘learning from home’ or ‘distance education’. Amy and her class mates had a day of online learning today. She did really well and completed all her tasks. There’s been lots of time to play as well.

We’re back!!
Well is definitely been a long time since Amy’s 5th birthday and my last post!

Today we went for a walk along the footpath. We followed some chalk drawings that Amy’s friend had done. It was like an obstacle course. Jack had fun sitting in our beach trolley as I pulled him along.

Amy has been busy building lego. It’s part of a 30 day LEGO challenge. Each day you get given a new object to build. She loves it!

Stay safe everyone
Currently, the world is in turmoil due to COVID19. We are starting to home-school Amy from tomorrow, and Jack is having a holiday from day care for the next four weeks. Michael’s bistro has closed down, and he’s filling in on the golf course serving takeaway to customers on weekends.
Currently my work is still open and I’m working Wednesday to Friday.
The world has changed so quickly, and we are all catching up as fast as we can.
Since we can’t see our lovely family and friends in person, I’ve restarted our blog to help us feel connected to each other.
I hope the photos bring you joy!
Amy’s last day of school was Tuesday 24th March. There weren’t many children there. We were given information on ‘distance education’ so she can learn from home.
