Jack's speech

Jack is really trying to say lots of words.

His new words are:

Hi
Bar
Pole
No! No no no no no no no..... (thanks Amy for making sure he's learnt that word....)

He also loves to dance, with actions. He dances along to 'rockabye your bear' and 'open shut them'.

Lots of photos!

Here's a whole bunch of photos from the past week or two.

I love the one of nanna and Amy sitting by the pool. I also really love the photo I took of Michael and Jack, sitting on the seat at the park.

Today Jack fell asleep in the highchair at 10am when he was eating some morning tea. It was so cute! Video to follow.
Amy and Jack were watching TV tonight after their bath, and Amy fell asleep on the matress at 6pm. It was a busy day.

Port Stephens holiday

We had a lovely holiday at Port Stephens with Nanna, Sal, Tracie, Ben and Ethan. We explored the beach and parks as well as mini golf, bowling and toboggan Hill Park. Amy loved the toboggans and is still talking about it! We stayed in a lovely 4 bedroom unit, which had plenty of room for everyone. Jack had lots of fun running around with Amy, Ethan and Ben. He loved playing chasing games with the boys. It was nice seeing them all play together.

Amy smarty pants

Amy is getting far too clever! We love seeing her new skills and abilities emerge as she gets older. It's great fun to challenge her and teach her new things.

She sat down at the table to inspect her domino's. She counted the dots on a domino and told me how many there was. I showed her how she could match it to the number on her place mat. She then proceeded to match the numbers 1-10 while I observed from the kitchen. What a clever cookie she is!

She has quite a fascination for numbers and enjoys counting many things. She loved looking at her number chart and counts up to 100.

I recently bought her a toy bingo game. The little balls all have numbers which she then tries to match to a tray in which you store them once that number has been picked. She sometimes reads the number backwards, e.g she might say 36 is "sixty-three" but I've been teaching her left to right.
