Yes its been a busy month. Amy was sick with a terrible cold which seemed to drag on for an eternity. Thankfully she is well now, just in time to cut some teeth!
There has been some ‘interesting’ days with a clingy little girl who is dealing with the pain of teething. The eye teeth are making their appearance now.
Amy has 12 teeth at the moment. We don’t like teething and hope she gets through it quickly.
Despite the illness and teething we have been having lots of fun, going to parks and even the beach!
These photos are taken at a little park down by the river.
Here we are at Blaxland Riverside Park. Amy loves the swings and the sandpit.
Michael loves the flying fox .
Walking in the sand is a new challenge…
Amy loves it when we bury her legs in the sand. A great game!
On Thursday we took advantage of the beautiful weather and went to Manly Beach.
Amy had an absolute ball. She LOVED the waves, jumping up and down and listening to the roaring surf.
She also spent a lot of time playing (and tasting!) the sand. She said ‘Hi birds’ to the seagulls as we walked along the beach.
Here is Amy and Michael in the centre of the photo….
Big smiles
We found a little playground afterwards and Amy practiced her ‘driving’.
Around the house….
Baby Yoga?
Nanna made this bag for Amy when we started going to the library.
Now Amy likes to use it to put random things in and carry it around.
Packing away her mega-blocks…
This is actually MY new drink bottle that someone else has decided she likes too. Perhaps its the colour…
That hat looks a bit big…
Morning tea in the basket…
This sheep is called ‘Ba’. He is Amy’s cuddle toy in her cot. She loves Ba so much, and often cuddles him while she sleeps.
We bought Amy some flash cards and she just loves them. We play with them every day and either I say the word or she does.
She can say these words in the cards you see below. Although ‘Rabbit’ is ‘Bunny’.
Amy’s speech is moving along very quickly. I’ve lost count of how many words she says.
She is at the early stages of joining two words together.
She says “Hi Mumma/Daddy/Baby” etc.
The other day she said “Bye Bye Pa”.
Today she said “more cheese’'”.
Having fun in a cubby house…
This is how she likes to sit in the shopping trolley – arms back…
Fun at swimming lessons!
Wow what a lot of photos! I hope you all enjoyed them!
