Open shut them

This is one of Amy’s favourite songs. We sing every day which she just loves. It’s great for developing language and a lot of fun too.

Amy has watched me do these hand actions since she was born. And now at 15 months, she has the coordination to perform them herself.

Take a look:

Busy girl!

Amy is now 15 months and busier than ever! She now walks very well and learning to navigate steps and other obstacles.

She almost runs around the house now!

She is also getting very vocal. Not just talking but exploring how LOUD her voice can get! Amy is a bundle of energy at the moment!

Enjoy the pictures…

At the park. Amy was sick at the time. She looks a bit washed out Sad smile

Feeding her toys. This is her new favourite game.

She dips the spoon in a little container then puts it up to each of their mouths. Too cute!

One day Amy only slept 35 minutes and then woke crying. She wouldn’t go back to sleep, despite all my efforts.

So later in the afternoon I lay her down with her puppy and she had a nice rest. She didn’t sleep, but it was nice for her to relax.

Walking! (14.5 months)

Amy is walking!

She started making some big changes this week, and has dramatically improved very quickly!

She now walks:crawls about 50:50.

She is very steady on her feet and can walk for a long time. It’s so exciting to see this big development!

She can squat down to pick up objects, turn, side step (slowly) and sit down from standing.

She is yet to learn how to get onto her feet without needing to pull up on something first.

But it wont be long before our baby is RUNNING!
